Wohlsen Construction Adds Three to Connecticut Team

Wohlsen Construction  Company is pleased to announce three new teammates have joined its operations team which continues Wohlsen’s expansion in the Northeast region.

Malcolm C. McPherson, PE

Malcolm C. McPherson of Redding, CT joins the team as a senior project manager for the Sunrise of Wilton project. McPherson is a graduate of Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a New-York-State-certified Professional Engineer. He comes to Wohlsen with 14 years of experience in engineering and construction, having led several large and complex projects in the New York metro area. His engineering background and construction experience gives his project teams and clients a unique advantage, allowing the optimization of constructability and overall function throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Michael J. Flanders

Also joining the team is Project Manager, Michael J. Flanders of Monson, MA. Flanders began his career serving in several construction roles with the U.S. Navy. While in the service, Flanders studied engineering at the University of Florida and later received his Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering from Springfield Technical College. He has since performed on a wide variety of residential and commercial

Hairo Trinidad

construction projects in leadership roles throughout the state of Connecticut. Bringing nearly four decades of construction experience and intricate local knowledge, Flanders will serve as the project manager on the Sunrise of Fairfield project.

Additionally, Hairo Trinidad has joined the Wohlsen team as a project engineer for the Sunrise of Wilton project. He began his career in the construction industry six years ago upon completing his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. He has since served as a project engineer on various high-profile projects in New York City and Connecticut. Trinidad lives in Greenwich, CT and is actively involved in the Royal Rangers, a youth mentoring program, and is a head swim coach for the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich.
