Wohlsen Construction Honored with 12 Awards

Wohlsen Construction Company received twelve awards from the Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at the association’s Annual Excellence in Construction Awards Gala.

Wohlsen’s five first place awards of excellence and seven second place awards of merit represented the most awards received by any of the members at this year’s competition.

Wohlsen received Green Building recognition by winning first place in the sustainable green category for the Kings Mill Depot project at the York College of Pennsylvania and the second lace award of merit for the Cargas Systems Headquarters project in the general contractor LEED green category.

First Place Excellence in Construction Awards were captured by the CoreSource Office Building located at the Stockyards Business Park in Lancaster, the Sixth Ward Memorial Park for the City of Lancaster, the Harrisburg Authority Sludge Storage Building, and the Kings Mill Deport project at York College of Pennsylvania.

Earning Second Place Merit awards were the Cargas Systems Building located at the Stockyards in Lancaster, the Brethren Village Retirement Community Campus Redevelopment project in Lancaster, the Noll Drive Office Building in Lancaster, the Fallston Activity Center in Harford County Maryland, the Brooks College House at Franklin & Marshall College, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Data Center in Harrisburg.
