Wohlsen Construction Open’s Baltimore Office

Wohlsen Construction Company announces its strategic growth plan, including an expansion into Baltimore with the opening of an office located at 1501 S. Clinton Street, Baltimore.

With a long history of serving the Baltimore region Wohlsen’s newest location, led by Executive Vice President Dave Brodie, positions the company to better respond to growing opportunities in the commercial; institutional, including senior living; education; and healthcare markets. With more than 31 years at Wohlsen, Brodie has risen through the ranks, bringing valuable, hands-on knowledge of the construction process to customers.  Over his tenure, he is credited with leading business development and marketing for Wohlsen, as well as leading the company’s Delaware office.

As part of Wohlsen’s plan to serve the Baltimore region, Steve Davies has joined the company as Vice President and Project Executive.  With more than 35 years of construction experience in the Maryland, area, Davies brings leadership and expertise in all aspects of residential and commercial construction, with special emphasis on historic preservation and urban renewal projects.

Wohlsen made its first mark in the Baltimore region in 1979.  Over the years, the Wohlsen name has been attached to notable projects like the renovations at Penn Station, construction of the student service center at University of Maryland, and the additions at the Cecil County Correctional Facility.

Founded in 1890, Wohlsen Construction Company provides general contracting, design-build, construction management, and facilities services to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic States. Wohlsen maintains full-service offices in Lancaster and Harrisburg, PA, Wilmington, DE, and Baltimore, MD.
