Wohlsen Construction Promotes Personnel as Part of Strategic Growth Plan

Wohlsen Construction Company, a leader in providing construction services in the senior living, education, healthcare, and commercial/industrial markets announces the following promotions and hires as part of its strategic growth plan.

Wohlsen elevates Michael B. Funck to Vice President of its Central Pennsylvania Market.  With 20 years under the Wohlsen Brand, Funck most recently served as Vice President of Preconstruction and Estimating.  During his tenure at Wohlsen, Funck has advanced through a career path, which included: Project Engineer, Project Manager, Estimator and Preconstruction Manager.

Mike’s experience includes many high profile and multi-phased projects in the senior living, healthcare and education markets including Franklin & Marshall College, Messiah College, The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, Brethren Village Retirement Community and Diakon Lutheran Social Services. Funck earned his Bachelor of Science Degrees in architectural engineering and civil engineering from Drexel University.  He resides in Campbelltown, PA.

In addition, Jamie Morrison has been promoted from Senior Project Manager to Project Executive.  In his role as project executive Jamie will have overall management responsibility of the operations teams on projects located in Central Pennsylvania.  During his tenure at Wohlsen, Jamie has completed over 1 million square feet of senior living projects.  Jamie is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and resides in Conestoga, Pa.
