Project Description
Preconstruction and construction management services for a new four- story dormitory. New College House carries forward the heritage of architect Charles Z. Klauder’s much-loved Georgian master plan and buildings with its simply massed expression of red brick, stone, painted wood trim, and slate roof.
The project includes:
- 188-beds (suites, apartments, and dorm rooms)
- Multipurpose space
- Seminar room
- Small group room
- Offices
This project has been awarded the USGBC LEED Silver Certification. Sustainable building features include:
- Rain gardens
- Energy recovery units in HVAC system
- Use of local/regional building materials
- FSC-certified wood
- Material with high recycled content
