Project Type
Senior Living
Project Description
Preconstruction and construction management services for the phased renovations to the two-story occupied health care center at Ware Presbyterian Village.
The project requires the conversion of the 136-unit facility to the neighborhood model, reallocating common spaces and resident rooms to create a homier environment.
Renovations include:
- Selective demolition of resident rooms and community space
- New spa (bathing) rooms
- Neighborhood dining venues and social areas
- Upgrades to the rehabilitation gym, chapel, and administrative space
- Updated finishes and lavatory fixtures
- Door and hardware replacement
- Window replacements
- Replacement of heating and cooling systems and fire safety equipment
- Upgrades to electrical systems including new services, switch gears, emergency power and wiring, and fixtures
Due to the continued occupation of the facility, only four to ten rooms are available for construction activities at a time.
